Click HereIn Ghana, many young people, including those with university degrees, face challenges in finding jobs. It is reported that over 10% of the youth remain unemployed, with many more underemployed.
A mismatch between skills and job market demands, along with limited opportunities, adds to the struggle. Creating platforms to connect job seekers with employers could help address these challenges.
On March 21-22, CARISCA’s Career Services Office at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology School of Business (KSB) will host a two-day job fair. The event in partnership with HR Network Africa, is open to everyone with a special call to recent KSB graduates from the 2019 – 2023 graduating batch.
The event aims to connect attendees with job opportunities, equip them with essential skills, and foster engagement with top employers in Ghana and beyond. The job fair will be held in person at the British Council in Accra. The first day will feature discussions around the theme “Unlocking Your Career Potential: Strategies for Securing Your First Job and Progressing in Your Career”.
