Testimonials
Understanding the increasingly competitive job market while in school, I sought options to differentiate myself from the over 77,000 graduating students in my year group in Ghana. The first resort was to gather experience, through internships which I also leveraged to establish networks ultimately leading to me secure a full time offer before graduation.
Emmanuel Opoku-Bona
Senior Associate, Infrastructure and Capital Projects, Deloitte Africa.
My commitment to continuous learning led me to pursue a masters degree in Procurement and Supply Chain Management. My experiences in and out of the classroom during my study has significantly enhanced my ability to source materials efficiently, ensure quality and cost-effectiveness in construction, and boost the profitability and sustainability of my agro-business ventures.
Delali Bansah Kwame
Project Manager, Blessdel Enterprise
The professional development component of the Hospitality and Tourism Management program at KNUST School of Business was pivotal to my success as an event practitioner. It enabled me to build valuable industry relationships, including a key connection with Ms. Debra Jane Nelson of Think Mahogany Events. I was able to secure an internship with her company.

CARISCA has been a cornerstone in advancing my academic career, offering unparalleled access to cutting-edge research and fostering interdisciplinary collaboration. Through the centre’s Career Café webinars like “Navigating Career Paths and Ensuring Success,” I have connected with both local and international scholars, gaining invaluable mentorship and opportunities for meaningful collaboration.
